The problem did take a longer than expected timeframe, however, Mini kept me updated as to the cause which made sense and provided a very nice loaner vehicle that made the extended repair time of little or no inconvenience. Buying a car at MINI is not your USUAL buying experience. It's not about the "merit" of the car, it's about what people want and don't want. But after that period the reviews were really good.
